Baked On Guard Apples
I made this recipe…
now you know it’s Liz when we are talking about cooking!
I tried out my friend Rachel’s recipe that she shared and it came out awesome!
I did make a few changes based on the ingredients I had on hand.
It’s so good I just had to share!
This makes a great Apple Pie filling too!
Baked On Guard Apples
About 8-10 apples pealed and sliced
Mix with (all approximate):
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbs coconut oil mixed with 5-6 drops On Guard
2/3 cup natural sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
2-3 tbs cornstarch or arrowroot powder (to thicken) 3 tbs water
Bake at 350, covered, for 45 min.
Then uncover and bake another 15 min
